A Few Words From Maniwolf….
This Website is a work in progress, like everything in this world, our lives, your life, my life, my stories. I always thought my writing needed to be perfect before being published. Until I realized that there is no such thing as perfection.
Finally, I decided to just go ahead with the material that’s there now, sometimes raw and rough. It is continuously being worked on, changing like the untamed waves of the sea, growing like the virgin rain forest. Please don’t hold me to what you saw yesterday or see today, because it may not be the same tomorrow….
Especially the translations of the stories originally created in German and Spanish may be flawed. They have been translated by DeepL.com, and while that platform is amazing, its translations do come with inevitable shortcomings, at least when we talk about creative manuscripts. I have edited those translations, but ultimately they need to be reviewed by my favorite language company, USAtranslations.org.
The website is mainly published in English for now, yet you also see several German and Spanish narratives. At some point you may select all website features between those three languages.
I admit that my literary pieces are naively simple and deeply personal. As a human creature who survived miraculously against all odds, unfortunately this is the only way I can write.
My material has developed from childhood memories, life and death experiences, deep-feeling psychotherapy scenes, day and night dreams, passionate love entanglements, adventurous travels, wild road trips and an exuberant imagination….
Do you find these stories inspiring, uplifting? Probably not, at least not at first glance. For some readers they may come across as outright sad, dreary and painful. This approach has grown from the experience that tackling the darker sides of our existence may ultimately lead us to a new zest for life, its beauty and joy.
Rather than merely entertaining, these creations come with an underlying psychological slant. If you just want to be receptive…
The stories are designed to be read individually. but altogether they may also be seen as a memoir. A memoir that is true AND fictitious at the same time.
